Coming alive to God is like waking up from a deep sleep. Our eyes open, our senses are suddenly aware. Life is still life, but it's not the same. Awakened to God, life simply cannot be and never will be the same again.

Faith is never stationary, it is always moving. God is on the move which is why we are too. The good news of Jesus is always refreshing and always meets us right where we are and then sends us out with a message and a hope that is for the world.

The work of growth needs to be nurtured. Growing means getting our hands dirty, being planted in good soil, cultivating good things in the hope of fruitfulness. Hope is the fruit of the gospel and our world desperately needs to experience the joy and power of this hope.

As remarkable as it is, an encounter with Jesus Christ does more than just change us; it changes our whole world from that moment on. Not only are you becoming a different person with a new attitude, purpose and community around you, but everyone in your life is now impacted by the goodness and love of God in you. Literally, the future is not what it was going to be... it becomes what is was meant to be all along.
