Venue Hire

 

The Community Space is a 7-day-a-week centre of life and hope, a space where our wider community encounters a new future. The venue is available to hire for all types of events such as birthdays, weddings, workshops, conferences and meetings.

We have tried to keep venue hire rates at a reasonable cost as it is our vision that the Community Space would accommodate for a variety of groups and individual hirers. Rates will be determined upon consultation with the Communications and Community Space Coordinator.

The large auditorium of the church is filled with chairs lined up in rows. At the front of the room there is a stage with musical instruments including a piano, drum kit and guitars.

The Auditorium is characterised by high ceilings and tall windows and a stage in the corner. It is carpeted and airconditioned. There are currently 200 chairs set up for Sunday morning services and an additional 80 if required. There are 15 trestle tables available for use.

 

Instrument and Audio visual access

We have a piano and drumkit available for hire and access to audio, visual projection and lighting. Please contact the Community Space Coordinator to discuss hire fees.

The smaller lounge is a cozy room ready for friendly chats with multiple couches, rug on the the floor and coffee table between.

 

Lounge

 

The Lounge offers a comfortable and air-conditioned setting, ideal for informal meetings or coaching sessions. This carpeted room features two sofas, accommodating 10-15 chairs, a TV, and a selection of children's toys available upon request. With a capacity of up to 20 people, it provides a comfortable environment for various gatherings and collaborative discussions.

Multipurpose Room

 

The Multipurpose Room is an ideal setting for meetings or workshops, accommodating up to 30 people comfortably. It features a non-carpeted floor, air conditioning, and is equipped with projection capabilities, a whiteboard, as well as amenities including a sink and fridge. Tea and coffee facilities are available upon request to enhance your meeting experience. The room is furnished with 4 tables and 30 chairs.

Meeting Room

 

Our Meeting Room offers a welcoming and warm environment ideal for both informal gatherings and formal meetings. It features air conditioning, carpeting, and is equipped with a movable TV and whiteboard upon request. The room includes two sofas, 8-10 chairs, and a spacious table. With a capacity of 15 to 20 people, it's the perfect space for your next productive session or relaxed discussion.

The foyer is a large open space with a wall of windows brining light in. Against the windows there are a couple of couches for comfortable conversation. In the center there is a large table surrounded by many chairs, along with a bar height table and bar stools.

 

The Cafe Space/Foyer Area

 

The Cafe Space/foyer area is a spacious light filled, air-conditioned, fully carpeted space which has a variety of Cafe style tables, chairs, bar stools and sofas. The fully equipped commercial kitchen can be accessed from this space and can be used in conjunction with Cafe area. The capacity of this area is 150 people

A large stainless steel kitchen fitted with appliances featuring a big island in the center of the room. Ovens and fridges run along on wall, with pantry cupboards along the back, and dishwasher and sink on the other. A large bench with opening window allows the kitchen to be opened to the foyer for food service.

 

Kitchen

 

Our modern kitchen is available to hire, with ample counter space, and high-quality utensils. Ideal for everything from cooking classes to large meal preparations, it offers a spacious, efficient layout and essential amenities like 2 commercial-grade ovens and stove tops, ample refrigeration, commercial grade dishwasher and a variety of utensils. Use and access to the kitchen is included in the hire of the Cafe/Foyer space or it can be hired separately.
